Baseball, softball contests postponed

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Forecasts of rain, snow and cold temperatures have forced the Plymouth State University baseball and softball teams to juggle their schedules.

Last night's baseball game, originally set to be played at Panther Park, was moved to Rivier's home field, Holman Stadium. The game was postponed after less than three innings were completed and the two teams intend to reschedule the game in Plymouth on a date yet to be determined.

The Little East Conference baseball doubleheader between the Panthers and Eastern Connecticut State University originally scheduled for tomorrow (Apr. 14) has been postponed until Sunday (Apr. 22). The first game will begin at noon, with game two scheduled for a 3:00 p.m. first pitch.

Additionally, the baseball game with Middlebury College slated for this Sunday (Apr. 15) has also been postponed. No official make-up date has been determined at this time.

The PSU softball doubleheader with New England College set for this Sunday (Apr. 15) has been canceled and will not be rescheduled.
