Athletic Facilities

The Physical Education Center (PE Center) was opened in the spring of 1969. There are over 33 acres of playing fields for the athletic teams and an additional 12 acres used by the Intramural/Recreation Department.

The PE Center houses:

• Olympic-sized swimming pool
• Indoor track and tennis court area
• Racquetball courts
• Three-court gymnasium with seating for 2,000 (John C. Foley Gymnasium)
• Wrestling room
• Athletic training and rehabilitation facility
• Vailas Performance Center.

Outside there are 50 acres of playing and practice fields plus nine outdoor tennis courts.
