Panthers gearing up for 2015 campaigns
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The start to summer is now underway, but the Plymouth State University athletic programs already have an eye on autumn.
With the PSU fall sports season less than three months away, the Panther schedules are now available on the school’s athletics website at athletics.plymouth.edu. Six of the eight fall teams will begin play on the weekend of Sept. 4-5, with the other two opening up the following weekend.
There are home field changes for the Panthers this fall as the University completes construction on ALLWell North, an indoor track facility located on the perimeter of the athletic fields. The project has moved the Panther men’s and women’s soccer games to Arold Field in front of the Physical Education Center, while the Panther field hockey games will be played on a turf field at nearby New Hampton School. The Panther women’s tennis team will practice and play its matches at The Holderness School for the second straight year.
The 2015 fall campaign will mark the third season for the Panther men’s and women’s cross country programs. The Panther football team also begins its third year as a member of the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) while the cross country, field hockey, soccer, tennis and volleyball programs continue their challenges in the Little East Conference.
The complete schedules are updated on the PSU Athletics website. All schedules are subject to change.
