"I love being a member of the Plymouth State field hockey team. Aside from the great athletic facilities available to athletes I am also appreciative of the people I have met. The team has become like family to me and is there for constant support. Participation in athletics has supplied me with qualities that will help me to attain success in academics and in a future career."

"The atmosphere at Plymouth is very welcoming and it doesn’t take long to get to know people. Everyone in and around the college is very friendly and there is always something going on. Being able to play high level collegiate soccer at the same time is the icing on the cake."

"I chose Plymouth State because it is a relatively small school that offers what I am interested in. Here, there is a brand new science building with so much to offer within its walls, and there is also a host of extracurricular activities to challenge you to go further. The tennis team has allowed me to challenge myself physically while I challenge myself mentally and academically within the walls of Plymouth."

"I love PSU because it is a people friendly environment. I never have to worry about fitting in or feeling I need to act a certain way. The people here are always caring and are always willing to give a helpful hand. Overall PSU is a place I came to because I knew how much respect I would receive as a person and athlete."

I chose Plymouth State University because it is a small school that offers great academics and athletics. Everyone at PSU wants you to succeed and the people here will go that extra mile to make sure you do so. I play lacrosse here and I feel at home when I am with my team and my coaching staff. Even when walking around campus or downtown Plymouth, everyone whether you know them or not will say "hi" to you. This environment is a positive motivator to receive an education and create a family that will last forever.

"I love PSU because I have been happy here since the first week of school. Almost every person I've met, the teachers, coaches, and students, have all been great. It has been really easy to meet and get along with people at PSU, and I never feel like I want to be anywhere else. I am a Freshman on the Women's Basketball team, and my teammates have already become some of my best friends. I am 100% happy that I chose Plymouth State, and my first year of college has been awesome."

"I chose to attend Plymouth State University to pursue a degree in the growing field of Criminal Justice and to have the chance to play a collegiate sport at a high level. Besides having a very good Criminal Justice program, PSU has excellent athletic teams and staff. Plymouth State’s relatively small size has given me the ability to pursue my degree while playing a sport. Being a part of the football team has allowed me to make a ton of new friends since first arriving on campus. In my short time here, I have learned excellent life skills on the field and in the classroom, which will all help me to succeed in my future."

"Plymouth state was my first choice when I started looking at schools. The hockey coaches along with the athletic trainers were very helpful in the college process on and off the ice. This is why it was a no-brainer that Plymouth was the place for me. Plymouth has a great atmosphere and is a true college town that makes sporting events either as a spectator or as a player one of the best memories a student-athlete can ask for. The support from everyone involved with the university is amazing and being a student-athlete at Plymouth State University is by far the best decision I have made in my life."

"I chose Plymouth because it wasn't too far from home and because the campus seemed like the right fit for me. Not only has my team become like a second family to me, but my coaches have helped me to grow on the field, in the classroom and as a person as a whole. My decision to play lacrosse has been the most influential and rewarding choice I have made as a student at PSU."

"I chose Plymouth for a couple different reasons. On-top of getting a solid education, I wanted to further pursue my athletic career at a high level, and Plymouth provides this to me. Also, Plymouth is one of the best schools in the nation when it comes to skiing availability. Plymouth is about 30 minutes away from top-notch resorts such as Waterville, Cannon, Loon, and Bretton-Woods."
