PSC trip to NJ cancelled

PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The season-opening weekend for the Plymouth State College baseball team has been cancelled due to winter weather conditions.

The Panthers were scheduled to make a trip to New Jersey this weekend to open the season against Richard Stockton College on Saturday and Rowan University on Sunday. Neither school could host the games because of snow on the diamonds.

Plymouth State will now open its season during the annual trip to Florida. The Panthers will participate in the Gene Cusic Collegiate Classic, playing 10 games from Mar. 16-21. The opener is a doubleheader against Roger Williams University on Sunday, Mar. 16 (4:00 p.m.).
