Plymouth State Baseball to meet Keene State at the Home of the Fisher Cats

PLYMOUTH, N.H. - College baseball fans across the Granite State will be treated to an exciting event next Friday, April 20, when Plymouth State University and Keene State College play a Little East Conference baseball game at MerchantsAuto.com Stadium in Manchester, N.H., as part of a doubleheader with the New Hampshire Fisher Cats.

The Panthers and Owls will play the first game of the twinbill at 1:00 p.m., with the Fisher Cats, the Double A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, taking on the Portland Sea Dogs, Double A affiliate of the Boston Red Sox, in the second game at 6:30 p.m. Fireworks will be displayed following the Fisher Cats-Sea Dogs contest.

Tickets in the Plymouth State section, which are $8.00 and are good for both games, are available by calling the PSU Athletic Department at 603-535-2770.

"This is a big event for our kids, our parents and fans, and for the two schools, and we're looking forward to it" said PSU baseball coach Dennis McManus. "It's particularly big for our team, because it's an important Little East Conference game, and we can't lose sight of that."
