PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Little East Conference baseball teams will be participating in a league-wide awareness day for prostate cancer on Saturday, May 1st, including at Panther Park at Plymouth State University where the Panthers host the University of Massachusetts Boston in a doubleheader at 12 noon. Similar events will be held at LEC doubleheaders at Keene State College, Rhode Island College and the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth.
Donations will be collected to benefit the Prostate Cancer Foundation. The student-athletes on both teams along with the coaches will be wearing blue ribbons to raise awareness and honor those who have been affected by prostate cancer. The bases at Panther Park will be painted blue to honor this event and a blue ribbon will be painted on the field.
Come and support the Plymouth State Panthers as they drive for a spot in the Little East Tournament and help increase prostate cancer awareness and fight this rancorous disease.
