Bobby Chatfield (Sharon, CT) after his 4 years as a pitcher with Panthers is now joining the coaching staff as a first year assistant. Bobby is also entering his second year as pitching coach for the 2013 Torrington Titans. He was a member of the 2011 Titan team.

Chatfield, at PSU in his senior season shared the team lead with four victories while posting a 3.89 earned run average.  He allowed just 53 hits in 69 innings while striking out 71, matching the school record for strikeouts in a season (Marc LaMarche, 1989).  Chatfield led the Little East in strikeouts as well as opponent's batting average against (.206). He also led his team to be the runner-up for the LEC Champinoship.
