Title: Assistant Coach

Brandon Cox is in his first season as Assistant Baseball Coach for the Plymouth State baseball team.  A native of Nashua, N.H., Cox played two years of baseball at Division II Merrimack College before transferring to Plymouth state for his junior and senior years.

Cox, a shortstop during his two years at Plymouth State, will work with both the Panther offense and defense.  His younger fast-paced coaching style, combined with deep knowledge of the game, will help to develop player’s abilities.  Along with his coaching roles, Brandon heads the Panther recruiting efforts as recruiting coordinator.

During his two years as a Panther, Brandon’s 47 RBI, 19 doubles and 4 homeruns led the team in production.  His 35 walks was directly related to his successful hitting approach, which he will instill in current players.

Cox also competed in the Futures Collegiate Baseball League during its inaugural season for the Nashua Silver Knights.  Cox  earned All-Little East Academic honors as well as being on the Dean’s list. He graduated Cum Laude from Plymouth State with a degree in Business Administration.
