Ryan McIntosh is in his second season as Assistant Baseball Coach for the Plymouth State baseball team. Ryan is a Lincoln, N.H. native who was among the state’s best baseball players at both Lin-wood High School and then Plymouth State University.
Ryan plays a large role on the Coaching Staff, working with hitters on both their mental and physical approach to the game. Ryan’s tactical approach to the game will foster a fast-paced style offense. Averaging only four errors per season during his three years as a middle infielder with the Panthers, McIntosh will use his combination of experience and research to lead a sound defense.
As a three-year player at Plymouth State, Ryan’s production was impressive, with 71 RBI and 30 doubles. McIntosh has a natural baseball mind, as evident by only being thrown out once on the base paths in his collegiate baseball career. Ryan brings his diverse experience, along with his teaching-style approach to coaching to the Panther coaching staff.
After playing at and graduating from Plymouth State , Ryan became a certified personal trainer for private clientele at local golf courses and clubs. In addition to personal training he now serves as the manager of the Motion Analysis Laboratory in Charlestown, MA - a Harvard based biomedical research lab specializing in robotics, wearable technology, and biomechanics.
