NEFC All-Academic Team includes 13 from PSU
Panther football players recognized for work in classroom
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The New England Football
Conference Academic All-Conference team for 2011 has been
announced, and the list includes 13 student-athletes from the
Plymouth State University football team.
To qualify for the All-Academic team, a student-athlete must have completed three semesters at an institution and maintained a cumulative grade point average of 3.0. The All-Academic team is released following the fall semester, which included the football season.
There are seven Panthers who were named to the All-Academic Team for the second straight year, and two PSU seniors were honored for the third year in a row – WR Josh Duford (Claremont, N.H.) and TE James Liddel (Shelton, Conn.).
