PSU Football to hold “Scouts Day”

Panthers to celebrate local Boy Scouts, Cub Scouts and Girl Scouts 

            PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University football team will hold a special Scouts Day this Saturday, Oct. 7, during its game against Bridgewater State University.

            All Cub Scouts, Girl Scouts and Boy Scouts in uniform will receive free admission to the game. Scouts and their siblings will be invited to form a "high five tunnel" to welcome the PSU football team onto the field for warm-ups and may join players and coaches on the field during the National Anthem.

            There will be a short recognition ceremony during halftime and a photo opportunity and autographs after the game with team members in front of ALLWell North. All scouts in attendance will also receive a commemorative patch.

            No preregistration for the event is necessary. Any scouts wishing to participate should arrive to Currier Field no later than 12:15 p.m. All parking for the event will be at the Hanaway Rink & Savage Welcome Center parking lots.

            All scouts in uniform and all kids (12 & under) will be admitted free of charge. Discounted ticket prices of $3 for adults with scouts will also be in place.
