MASCAC releases Fall All-Academic Teams

PSU Football leads the way with 41 honorees

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Forty-one members of the Plymouth State University football program were among those recognized by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) with selection to the league's Fall 2017 All-Academic Team.

The 41 honorees were the most among all MASCAC football teams, with Westfield State University having the next most with 31.

Student-athletes that compete in championship varsity sports during the Fall 2017 season and have achieved a 3.20 cumulative or semester-based grade point average during the semester were eligible for selection to the team.

Plymouth State wasn't just successful in the classroom, as the Panthers finished 7-1 atop the MASCAC to earn the regular season crown and the conference's automatic berth to the NCAA Tournament. The Panthers had been picked to finish fifth in the Preseason Coaches' Poll.
