PSC Sophomore Named To LEC Field Hockey Honor Roll

PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Plymouth State College's field hockey player Sacha Jackson (Sangerville, ME) was rewarded for her goal and assist effort against Bryant College by being named to the Little East Conference Weekly Honor Roll.

A sophomore forward, Jackson scored the first goal for the Panthers and assisted on the second in a 3-1 victory for the Panthers. Jackson now has two goals and an assist on the season and upped her career stats to four goals and six assists.

PSC, 3-2 overall, opens its conference schedule Tuesday (Sept. 28) at 4:00 p.m. against rival Southern Maine at Arold Field. This weekend the Panthers look to enact some revenge against Keene State, who knocked the Panthers out of the '98 LEC tournament. The two schools meet Saturday (Oct. 2) at 1: 00 a.m. on the turf at Keene.

Panther Notes: Senior captain Jill Sutherland (Rockport, MA) is among the scoring leaders in the LEC she has now tallied two goals and four assists on the season.
