PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The leading scorer on Plymouth State College's field hockey team was selected to the Little East Conference Weekly Honor Roll after leading the Panthers to three victories.
Senior midfielder Megan Fournier (East Waterboro, Maine) is this week's PSC representative on the LEC's list of honorees. It is her first LEC selection this season and the second of her career. Fournier leads the team in scoring with four goals. The senior co-captain scored PSC's first goal in a 3-2 win at rival New England College last Monday, and tallied the game-winning goal in Sunday's 2-0 victory over Colby College. She also helped PSC to a 1-0 shutout over Southern Maine on Wednesday as the Panthers completed a perfect 3-0 week. Plymouth State has improved its record to 6-4 overall and 3-1 in the LEC.
The Panthers play a pair of conference games this week, Tuesday (Oct. 2) at Salem State (3:30 p.m.) and Saturday (Oct. 6) at home against Bridgewater State (1:00 p.m.).
