Plymouth State midfielders named All-LEC in Field Hockey
PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Two of the starting midfielders
on the Plymouth State University field hockey team was recognized
Tuesday with selections to the 2009 All-Little East Conference
Team.
Senior Morgan Lemmon (Gilford, N.H./Bishop Brady) represented Plymouth State as an All-LEC Second Team midfielder, and senior Kerry D'Ambroise (Lowell, Mass.) earned All-LEC Third Team honors. Lemmon earned her second straight All-Conference honor while D'Ambroise was recognized for the first time.
A four-year starter for the Panthers, Lemmon (near

field. A former scoring leader as a forward, she finished
fourth on the team in scoring this season with three goals and five
assists, sharing the team lead in assists. She also helped
out a defense that has allowed only 30 goals in 18 games.
A four-year veteran for the Panthers, D'Ambroise (far right) led the team in scoring this season with 12 goals and 25 points and ranked in the top 10 in the LEC in both categories. She had three multiple-goal games, including scoring a hat trick in a win over Castleton.
Both players are also wrapping up a solid career for PSU. Lemmon has recorded 19 goals, 12 assists and 50 points in 77 career games while D'Ambroise has 24 goals, six assists and 54 points in 73 career contests.
PSU, 10-8 overall, is the #8 seed in this week's ECAC Division III New England Tournament, and travels to top-seeded Keene State College Wednesday for a 3:00 p.m. first-round contest.
