PSU Field Hockey goalie earns top LEC honor
Lemelin helps Panthers to 10-1 record
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The starting goalie on the Plymouth State University field hockey team was honored by the Little East Conference Monday for her performance in a pair of Panther victories last week.
Junior Hilary Lemelin was named LEC Field Hockey Goalie of the Week Monday. She led PSU to a pair of conference victories over the University of Southern Maine and Fitchburg State University as the Panthers improved to 10-1 overall and 6-1 in conference play.

A 5'8" goalie, Lemelin recorded a 2-0 record for the week with a 0.50 goals against average, four saves and one shutout. She needed to make just two saves in each of her victories, a 4-1 win Wednesday over Southern Maine and a 2-0 whitewash over Fitchburg State on Saturday.
Lemelin is ranked second in the 12-team LEC and 14th in the NCAA Division III with a 0.93 goals against average. She also ranks third in the conference with four shutouts.
PSU is back on the turf with a pair of road games this week, a non-conference affair Wednesday at Springfield College and an LEC matchup Saturday at Salem State University.
