PSU Field Hockey student-athletes earn academic honors
Eight Panthers recognized nationally for classroom work
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Eight members of the Plymouth State University field hockey team have been recognized with national academic honors from the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA).

Eight Panthers were named to the NFHCA Division III National Academic Squad, which recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.30 through the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year. In addition, sophomore Emily Davis (Boscawen, N.H./Merrimack Valley) was named a NFHCA Division III Scholar of Distinction, which recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2012-13 academic year.
The eight student-athletes representing Plymouth State on the National Academic Squad are juniors Lauren Carroll (Rollinsford, N.H./Somersworth) and Aisha Rai Thompson (Berlin, N.H.), sophomores Sam Carberry (Shrewsbury, Pa./Susquehannock), Tayla Corrado (Saugus, Mass.) and Emily Davis (Boscawen, N.H./Merrimack Valley), and freshmen Allison Dorey (Bristol, N.H./Newfound), Erin Kelley (Nashua, N.H./Nashua South), and Morgan Ouellette-Foss (Dayton, Maine/Thornton Academy).
Thompson was honored for the second straight year while the others are all first-time selections.
