The Panthers, as a team, were recipients of the Division III National Academic Team Award last week. The National Academic Squad recognizes individual student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative GPA of 3.30 or higher through the first semester of the 2017-18 academic year. Over 1,700 student-athletes representing 149 schools have been selected.

Representing PSU on the squad were senior Lily Davis (Boscawen, N.H.), sophomores Maddie Kabasakalian (Kent, Conn.) and Kaihley Rafferty (Salem, Conn.) and freshmen Olivia Geisser (Lowell, Mass.), Sally Goodwin (Warren, Vt.) and Haley Wakefield (South Paris, Maine).

"We are proud to have captain Lily, Maddie, Kaihley, Haley, Olivia and Sally recognized as members of the NFHCA DIII National Academic Squad," said head coach Bonnie Lord. "Their efforts in the classroom and on the field are always 100%."
