PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Two members of the Plymouth State University field hockey team were included when the National Field Hockey Coaches Association (NFHCA) announced the Zag Field Hockey/NFHCA Division III Scholars of Distinction on Wednesday.

Junior Haley Wakefield (Norway, Maine) and freshman Emma Revaz (New Boston, N.H.) were among a total of 321 student-athletes to earn the honor. The Division III Scholars of Distinction program recognizes student-athletes who have achieved a cumulative grade point average of 3.90 or higher through the first semester of the 2019-20 academic year.

Wakefield earns the recognition for the second straight year. PSU's two honorees matched the most among the 13 Little East Conference members.

Led by 20th-year head coach Bonnie Lord the Panthers finished 8-10 overall and 6-6 in the LEC, earning the seventh seed for the LEC Tournament. PSU fell at second-seeded Keene State, 4-0, in the opening round. Lord earned her 250th career victory following a 3-0 win over Fitchburg State on Sept. 21.
