Alivia Bates
Title: Assistant Coach

            Alivia Bates joins the Plymouth State field hockey coaching staff for the first time in 2018.

            Bates, a standout goalie for the Panthers, was a two-time All-Little East Conference First Team selection and was voted the league's Rookie of the Year in 2014. As a senior she led the LEC in goals against average (1.30) and save percentage (.824) to earn NFHCA Division III All-New England West Region Second Team honors. Her save percentage was the 12th best in the nation, while her goals against average was 32nd across all of NCAA Division III. The co-captain posted four more shutouts in 2017 to move into second in program history with 17 career blankings.

            Bates was selected as a recipient of the Brad Wilby Award for leadership, character and service by the Plymouth State Athletic Department in 2017-18.

            She graduated in 2018 with a Bachelor of Arts in Criminal Justice.
