Kara LaSalle is now in her second season as an assistant coach in charge of defense with the Plymouth State field hockey program in 2015.
A four-year letter winner at Franklin Pierce University, LaSalle missed just one game in her career with the Ravens, as she finished with 67 games played. A four-time National Field Hockey Coaches Association National Academic Squad selection while at Franklin Pierce, LaSalle was the Ravens' team captain as a senior in 2005. She was selected for the Northeast-10 Academic All-Conference Team in 2005.
Originally from Gilford, N.H., LaSalle graduated from Franklin Pierce in 2006 with a bachelor's degree in mathematics. LaSalle studied civil and environmental engineering at the University of New Hampshire’s Graduate School and currently works at a non-profit low-income housing development organization in the Lakes Region.
