PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Plymouth State College's Adam DeChristopher (Brockton, MA) is going to have to build an addition to his trophy room.

The senior guard continued to earn Little East Conference Honors, being named Co-Player of the Week with UMass Boston's Sean Harrington. DeChristopher, who is also on this week's ECAC New England Weekly Honor Roll, has earned weekly honors from the LEC and/or ECAC eight times this season, and 12 times in the last two years.

The 6'1" guard averaged 26.7 points, 4.7 rebounds, 2.7 assists and 2.3 steals in a 3-0 week that clinched the LEC regular season title for PSC. He exploded for a career-high 40 points in Plymouth's 89-84 victory over rival Keene State, Wednesday (2/17), while connecting on seven-of-eleven three-point attempts. DeChristopher also scored 20 points in wins against both Castleton State (2/18) and Eastern Connecticut (2/20).

The emotional week, which included the win at Keene, Eric McQueen's (Lawrence, MA) 1,000th career point and a dramatic, overtime title-ensuring win against ECSU, has pushed PSC to 18-6 overall and 11-3 in the LEC. By winning the regular season crown the Panthers have assured themselves of home-court advantage throughout the play-offs. The Panthers are also tied for sixth in the latest NCAA New England Division III Poll with Colby-Sawyer College. A new ranking will be released Tuesday (2/23).

DeChristopher finished the regular season among LEC leaders in six different categories. He finished second in scoring (21.4 ppg) and assists (4.5 apg). DeChristopher is also third among steals leaders (2.5 per game) and free throw percentage (.803) and appears among the league's best in three-point percentage (5th/.368) and field goal percentage (14th/.457).

In addition to his numerous conference marks, DeChristopher is second on Plymouth State's all-time scoring list with 1,947 points and needs 53 more to become only the second man in PSC history to reach the 2,000-point plateau. He has also scored in double figures in 40 straight games, dating back to last season.

Plymouth State hosts Rhode Island College in the first round of the Little East Conference play-offs Tuesday (2/23) at 7:00 p.m. The two teams split the regular season series with each team winning on its home court. The Anchormen outlasted PSC in Providence (12/12) winning 95-90 in overtime. Plymouth followed with a convincing 104-78 win over RIC at Foley Gymnasium on Jan. 30th. Should the Panthers win Tuesday, they would play in the semi-final game Friday at Foley Gymnasium against the winner of Eastern Connecticut - Southern Maine.
