PLYMOUTH, N.H. - One of the top players on the Plymouth State University men's basketball team was honored Monday with his selection to the Little East Conference Weekly Honor Roll.
Junior forward Anthony Oglesby (Brooklyn, N.Y.) was PSU's representative on the Honor Roll after leading the Panthers to a pair of road wins. He helped PSU remain unbeaten in 2004 with its third straight win as the team improved to 10-1 on the season.
A 6'3" forward, Oglesby averaged 11.5 points and 9.5 rebounds as
PSU pulled off wins Thursday night at Bowdoin (72-60) and Saturday
afternoon at Eastern Connecticut (68-52). He hit 9-of-20 from the
field (45 percent) while adding three assists and three steals. His
15 points and 14 boards at Bowdoin was Oglesby's fourth
double-double of the season.
