PSU Mens Basketball Player named to Little East Honor Roll
PLYMOUTH, N.H. - A senior guard on the Plymouth State University men's basketball team was honored Monday with selection to the Little East Conference Weekly Honor Roll for his performance in two Panther victories last week.
Senior Mark Dunham (Salem, N.H./Pinkerton Academy) earned selection to the Weekly Honor Roll. He is the fourth Panther to be honored by the LEC this season.
A 6'0" guard, Dunham averaged 15.5 points off the Panther bench as
PSU went 2-0 for the week, both conference wins. He shot 57.9
percent from the field (11-of-19) and a red-hot 60 percent from the
three-point line (9-of-15). Dunham made 4-of-5 from long range and
6-of-8 overall to match his season-high with 16 points in Tuesday's
74-58 win over Southern Maine, and added 15 points in Saturday's
78-65 win over Western Connecticut after draining 5-of-10
Dunham ranks ninth in the LEC in three-point field goals made (2.06 per game) and 14th in three-point field goal percentage (38.8). He is fourth on the team in scoring with 7.8 points per game.
The Panthers, 12-4 overall, are in a three-way deadlock atop the LEC standings with Keene State and UMass Boston, all with 5-2 league records. The Panthers visit archrival Keene State on Tuesday for the first of two meetings this season against the Owls (7:30 p.m.)
