Two PSU Mens Basketball Players named Little East Conference All-StarsPLYMOUTH, N.H.
- Two starters on the Plymouth State University men's basketball team were honored Tuesday with selections to the 2005-06 Little East Conference All-Star Team, as voted by the LEC's eight head coaches.
Senior Kevin Boutilier (North Andover, Mass.) and junior Mike Walcek (Dover, N.H.) were named Second Team All-LEC, the first post-season honor for either individual. Walcek also represented PSU on the LEC All-Defensive Team as the Little East began this year naming an All-Defensive and All-Rookie Team.

record and will make its fifth straight post-season appearance this
Wednesday at MIT (7:00 p.m.) in the opening round of the ECAC New
England Division III Tournament.
A 6'6" center, Boutilier leads the team in scoring (13.6 points per game) and is second in rebounds (5.6 per game). He ranks ninth in the conference in scoring and 14th in rebounding, and he leads the LEC in field goal percentage (55.4) and ranks 10th in free throw percentage (73.0). Boutilier also became the 21st player in school history last month to score his 1000th career point.
A 6'4" forward, Walcek led the team in rebounds (5.7 per game) and
finished second, right behind Boutilier in scoring (13.2 points per
game). He ranks 11th in the LEC in scoring, 13th in rebounding,
ninth in field goal percentage (50.4), fourth in free throw
percentage (78.9), seventh in three-point field goal percentage
(41.2), and 11th in three-point field goals made (1.62 per game).
Walcek enjoyed a breakout season, scoring 342 points this winter
after totaling 234 points his first two years combined.
PSU finished 8-6 in the LEC during the regular season to finish in fourth place, and was knocked off by UMass Dartmouth in the first round of last week's conference tournament.
