PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The leading scorer on the Plymouth State University men's basketball team was honored by the Little East Conference Monday for his accomplishments in three Panther games last week.

Senior Devin Ruocco (Dover, N.H.) was named LEC Men's Basketball Player of the Week after leading the Panthers in three outings. He earned the top weekly honor this week after being named to the LEC Weekly Honor Roll seven days ago.

A 6'4" forward, Ruocco (left) averaged 20.0 points and 5.3 rebounds last week, scoring at least 18 points in all three games. He finished with 24 points and five rebounds last Tuesday in a 86-77 win over Colby-Sawyer, making 5-of-9 from three-point range; and he scored 18 points in the other two games, an 87-70 loss Thursday evening at Salem State and an 84-81 setback at home on Saturday to LEC foe Western Connecticut. For the week, Ruocco shot 44.2 percent from the field, 70.6 percent from the line, and 43.5 percent from beyond the arc.

Ruocco enters the week second in the conference in scoring (18.2 points per game) and 13th in rebounding (5.8 per game). He also leads the LEC in three-point field goals made (22) and is tied for fourth in three-point field goal percentage (50.0).
