One of the most exciting point guards in recent Plymouth State history, Peter Skevas returns to campus as an assistant coach for the Panthers in the 2014-15 season. A four-year veteran and three-year starter at point guard, Skevas became the 25th player in Plymouth State men's basketball history to reach 1,000 points. A Second Team All-Conference selection, Skevas wrapped up his career with 1,002 points. A 6'1" guard, Skevas topped the LEC as a senior with 5.1 assists per game while ranking third in the conference in steals (1.9 per game). In the spring, he was selected to New Hampshire’s 1st Team All-State Team.
A two-year captain of the Panthers program, Skevas helped guide the Panthers to an 2014 ECAC appearance, their first in four years. Plymouth State earned its ECAC berth after improving its regular season record by six games over the prior season. The Panthers placed fifth in the Little East Conference with a 7-7 mark.
Graduating in physical education, Skevas is excited to start his coaching career at PSU, where he enjoyed so much success as a student-athlete. A native of Wethersfield, Connecticut, Skevas now resides in Meredith, N.H.
