PLYMOUTH, N.H. - One of the captains of the Plymouth State College hockey team has received honorable mention for his individual performance during the week.
Junior Eric Ryan (North Chelmsford, MA) was named to the ECAC Northeast Weekly Honor Roll. He is the first Panther to receive weekly honors from the ECAC this season.
The forward had a pretty good week for the Panthers, scoring two goals and two assists in three games. Ryan tallied both his goals and dished out one assist in a 4-0 victory over Assumption in the consolation game of the PAL Cup Tournament last Sunday (Nov. 28). The junior also contributed an assist against St Michael's College last Tuesday (Nov. 24). Ryan has three multi-goal games this season, and has five assists to go along with his team leading eight goals.
Plymouth State has won four of its last six games, improving to 4-3-0. The Panthers are 3-2-0 in the ECAC Northeast standings, and currently stand in a 4th place tie with Wentworth College. PSC's next game is a non-conference affair Tuesday (Dec. 1) at Southern Maine (7:00 p.m.).
The Panthers' next home game is Saturday (Dec. 5) when they host Neumann College (Pa.) at 7:00 p.m. PSC is 2-0 this season when it takes the home ice at the Waterville Valley Ice Arena.
