Top ECAC Weekly Goalie Honor for Forgue

PLYMOUTH, N.H. - A member of the Plymouth State College ice hockey team was named the ECAC/CCM Northeast Goalie of the Week.

Junior Larry Forgue (Nashua, NH) was named the Eastern College Athletic Conference Goalie of the Week after his outstanding effort in an overtime tie at New Hampshire College.

A 5'9", 170-pounder, Forgue was the talk of the game, stumping the Penmen's 39 shots, including all 15 in the third period. Forgue has a goals against average of 2.88 (ninth in the ECAC Northeast) and has a saves percentage of .917 (eighth in the Northeast). This isn't the first time Forgue has received honors, he was awarded regional and national weekly honors after posting consecutive shutouts last year.

The Panther will be returning home on Tuesday (Nov. 28th) at 7 p.m. to host New England College (alma mater of head coach Mike Bonelli) in a non-conference game. It is PSC's last home game until Jan. 6, 2001 (UMass Dartmouth), as all six Panther games in December are non-conference match-ups on the road (Manhattanville, Southern Maine, Fredonia State, Buffalo State, and the NEC Tournament).
