Three PSU Men’s Ice Hockey players named to ECAC All-Academic Team

PLYMOUTH, N.H.

- The Commissioner of the Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC), Phil Buttafuoco, has announced the 2005 ECAC Northeast Ice Hockey Conference All-Academic Team, which includes three members of the Plymouth State University Panthers.

            This marks the third year that the conference has named All-Academic Teams.  A total of 71 student-athletes representing 15 of the 16 Northeast Conference teams have earned the honor.

            Representing Plymouth State on the Northeast All-Academic team are sophomore defenseman Kyle Allen (Shrewsbury, Mass.), senior forward Michal Bodnar (Olomouc, Czech Republic), and junior goaltender Kyle VanDingstee (Skaneateles, N.Y.)

            To be named to the All-Academic Team, student-athletes must have completed at least one academic year at the institution, competed in at least one-half of his team's contests, and maintain a cumulative grade point average of at least 3.0 on a 4.0 scale.
