PSU Men’s Ice Hockey participate in charity fundraiser
Panthers grow mustaches to raise money, awareness
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University men’s ice hockey team is participating in a charity campaign that raises money and awareness for men’s health.
The Panthers are participating in “Movember”, a month-long charity program where the players and coaches grow mustaches as a way to create awareness and raise money for testicular and prostate cancers. All proceeds will go directly to LiveStrong and PCR (Prostate Cancer Research).
Anyone who wishes to donate to the PSU Hockey Movember cause, can go to the following link (http://us.movember.com/mospace/528944/).
"Growing a mustache creates a walking conversation piece, and will provide an opportunity for all who participate in Movember to help create awareness of prostate and testicular cancers that effect so many individuals and families," said PSU head coach Craig Russell.
