Sophomore forward Travis Stevens was named to the MASCAC Weekly Honor Roll, the first conference honor of his career. Stevens provided the Panther highlights in a pair of weekend non-conference setbacks to Wentworth Institute of Technology to open the 2012 slate.
A 5'9", 165-pound forward, Stevens played a part in all three Panther goals on the weekend. He tallied both goals in Saturday evening's 5-2 setback to the Leopards and he assisted on the lone goal Sunday in a 3-1 loss. Stevens doubled his season goal total to four and also has two assists in his seven games.
Plymouth State, 8-4-0 overall and 5-1-0 in the conference, returns to MASCAC action this week with visits Thursday to Westfield State University and Saturday to Framingham State University.
