PSU senior Kyle Greco (Hillside, Ill.) was named MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey Co-Player of the Week with Westfield State University sophomore Steve Evans, and Panther senior Jack Astedt (Angelholm, Sweden) was selected MASCAC Goalie of the Week. They led the Panthers to a pair of one-goal victories to keep the team atop the MASCAC standings.

A 6'0", 190-pound forward, Greco posted a goal and three assists for four points in the two MASCAC wins, with a hand in both game-winning goals.  He assisted on PSU's first goal and then scored the game-winner with 3:13 left in regulation in Thursday's 2-1 win over UMass Dartmouth, and he collected two assists in Saturday's 3-2 win over Fitchburg State, including a helper on the overtime game-winner.

Greco is fifth in the league in scoring with 20 points and tied for fourth with 10 goals. He is also four points shy of 100 for his career (45-51-96).

A 6'1", 175-pound goalie, Astedt posted a 2-0-0 record last week with a 1.46 goals against average and a .950 saves percentage.  He made 26 saves in Thursday's 2-1 win over UMass Dartmouth, and he made 31 saves in Saturday's 3-2 overtime victory over Fitchburg State.

Astedt leads the MASCAC in goals against average (2.14) and winning percentage (.769, 10-3-0) and is tied for the top in save percentage (.930). He is also tied for ninth in save percentage and ranked 19th in goals against average in the national Division III statistics.

Plymouth State, 14-5-0 overall and 10-2-0 in conference games, plays a pair of MASCAC road games this week, visiting rival Westfield State University on Thursday and Framingham State University on Saturday.
