PSU Men’s Ice Hockey cracks two national polls

Panthers #15 in latest USCHO and D3hockey.com rankings

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Following weeks of receiving votes the Plymouth State University men's ice hockey team broke into both the United States College Hockey Online (USCHO) and D3hockey.com polls, appearing at #15 in both rankings.

The Panthers have won every game since the calendar turned to 2018 – seven straight – and are currently riding an 11-game winning streak in Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) play. The defending regular season MASCAC champions have opened up a nine point lead in the standings as they march toward another regular season title.

The top five teams are the same in each poll: Adrian College, Wisconsin-Stevens Point, St. Norbert, Oswego State and Trinity College.

Plymouth State will face the three teams tied for second over the next ten days. First up is a match-up at Worcester State University on Thursday. The Lancers are responsible for the sole blemish on PSU's conference mark. The Panthers return to Hanaway Rink on Saturday for a 6:00 p.m. game with Fitchburg State University.
