Covach named Player of the Week
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The leading scorer for the Plymouth State University men's ice hockey team was honored by the Massachusetts State Collegiate Athletic Conference (MASCAC) following an impressive week on the ice.
Senior Michael Covach (Shillington, Pa.) was named the MASCAC Men's Ice Hockey Player of the Week as his hot start to the season continued.
Covach, who earned weekly honor roll mention last week, posted a second straight four-point game as the Panthers doubled up Worcester State, 6-3, in the MASCAC opener on Tuesday. He added a goal and two assists in the Panthers' 5-3 win over NCAA Division II Stonehill College on Saturday.

Plymouth State (3-0-0, 1-0-0 MASCAC) will look to extend its season-opening winning streak on Thursday (Nov. 8) at league-rival Fitchburg State. Puck drop is set for 7:00 p.m.
