PSC-Gordon game delayed/moved
PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Wet fields and cool temperatures have caused another round of postponements for Plymouth State College's spring athletic teams.
The PSC men's lacrosse home opener, scheduled for Wednesday (Apr. 2) at Panther Field against Gordon College, has been changed and will now be played at Gordon Thursday (Apr. 3) at 3:30 p.m. The Panthers are now planning to play their first home game this Saturday at 2:00 p.m. against archrival Keene State.
The PSC women's lacrosse team, which has been idle since having Monday's non-conference contest at Gordon snowed out, is also hoping to play its home opener at Arold Field on Saturday (12:00 p.m.) against Western Connecticut. The Panthers also have a non-conference encounter slated for Sunday at Bridgewater State (2:00 p.m.).
After a regularly scheduled doubleheader at New England College on Thursday, PSC's softball team has changed the location of Saturday's Little East Conference twinbill against Eastern Connecticut. The games will now be played at ECSU in Willimantic, Conn. (1:00 p.m.) The Panthers are now looking at Monday (Apr. 7) for their home opener against Bowdoin (3:30 p.m.).
The Panther baseball team, which already postponed non-conference home games against Becker and Lyndon State, is now moving the site of this Saturday's Little East Conference doubleheader against UMass Dartmouth. Instead of playing at Panther Park, the games will be contested Saturday at UMD, beginning with the normal 12:00 p.m. start time. PSC is also planning on a non-conference twinbill Sunday at St. Joseph's (Maine).
