Two PSU Mens Lacrosse players named Little East All-Stars
PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Two members of the Plymouth State University men's lacrosse team have been selected to the 2004 Little East Conference All-Star Team for their performances in a Panther uniform this season.
Junior midfielder Steve Skinner (Hingham, Mass.)
was named to the All-LEC First Team, and sophomore attack
Jon Gagnon (New Bedford, Mass.) was a Second Team
choice. The All-Star teams are voted on by the league's seven head
coaches.

Skinner (left) and Gagnon (right) were both among the conference's
scoring leaders this season and finished in a tie for the Plymouth
State scoring lead with 37 points apiece. Gagnon scored a
team-leading 28 goals along with nine assists, while Skinner, who
saw action at both attack and midfield positions, tallied 25 goals
and 12 assists. One of the team's co-captains, Skinner also had
three game-winning goals.

Plymouth State finished the season with a 6-7 record under first-year head coach Andrew Brauch, its best mark in three years. The Panthers were 2-4 in conference games and won their first-round LEC Tournament game at home over Southern Maine before being defeated in the semifinals by four-time conference champion Eastern Connecticut.
