Panthers fundraising event set for Waukewan Golf Club, Oct. 1
PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The Plymouth State University men's lacrosse program will be holding a fundraiser golf tournament on Sunday, Oct. 1 at Waukewan Golf Club in Center Harbor, as announced by head coach Gordon Webb.
The event is open to all Plymouth State faculty, staff, coaches, athletes, alumni, families and friends and was organized by Colin Claflin, a two-year captain and three-year member of the program.
Tee-off for the best ball, shotgun start tournament takes place at 11:00 a.m. and the event will include a round of golf, food, prizes and various raffles. Check in is scheduled for 9:30 a.m to 10:45 a.m. at the front of the club.
Players can register individually ($110/person) or as a foursome at a discounted rate of $400. Various holes will have additional competitions as part of the tournament, including closest to the pin, longest drive and best team score. All players will be given a cart with their assigned holes to start their round of golf. Payments will be accepted the day of the tournament.
Following the completion of play a dinner will be served at 4:30 p.m. for all participants of the tournament. Those interested in attending the dinner who did not play can do so at a cost of $25/person.
