PLYMOUTH, N.H. - A Plymouth State College men's soccer player has earned mention on the first Little East Conference Weekly Honor Roll of the season for his performance in last Saturday's game.
Senior Adam Jordan (Milford, NH) is PSC's representative on the first LEC Honor Roll. He scored the game-tying goal last Saturday at Panther Field in a 1-1 overtime tie against Babson College, connecting with just over 10 minutes left in regulation. It was Jordan's first career goal in 35 games. He also played strong defense, helping PSC limit the defending ECAC Champions to just one goal in 120 minutes of play.
PSC, 0-0-1 overall, gets right back into action this Wednesday (Sept. 9) with a key match at St. Anselm College (3:30 p.m.). The Panthers are ranked #10 in the nation in the National Soccer Coaches Association of American Division III poll.
The two-time defending LEC champions, Plymouth State doesn't play its conference opener until Sept. 26, when the Panthers host Keene State (7:00 p.m.) in the first home night game in PSC history. PSC was picked to win the LEC in the pre-season coaches' poll, and KSC was predicted to finish runner-up.
