PSU Mens Soccer player to play in Senior All-Star Game
PLYMOUTH, N.H. - A member of the Plymouth State University men's soccer team has been selected to participate in the annual New England Senior All-Star Game this Saturday (Apr. 23).
Senior defender Nick Libera (Cromwell, Conn.)
will represent the Panthers in the New England Intercollegiate
Soccer League (NEISL) All-Star Game Saturday at 5:00 p.m. at Babson
College in Wellesley, Mass. Division I, II and III all-stars will
be divided evenly among the two teams, and the annual awards will
be presented at halftime.
Libera completed an outstanding career for the Panthers in 2004. A four-year starter, Libera played in 68 career games at left halfback, earning All-Little East Conference Second Team honors in 2003. He also contributed six goals and six assists over his career. Libera is following in the footsteps of several other former Panthers who have played in the Senior All-Star game, including last year's representative, goalie Brad Wilby.
