PSU Men's Soccer loses to Middlebury

The Panthers in blue dominated the Panthers in white

Plymouth, N.H. – It was a battle of the Panthers Tuesday on Arold Field between the Panthers of Middlebury College, and the Panthers of Plymouth State University. This non-conference match up pitted Plymouth against the regionally and nationally-ranked Middlebury men's soccer team; second in New England, and 12th nationally.  The Panthers of Plymouth held their own for the majority of the game, but could not get the opportunities to shoot they needed.

"Our intent to play, and compete at Middlebury's level was there, and we were able to make it challenging for them defensively," said associate head coach Parker Spear.

Plymouth State Panther Nick Rutherford (Sydney, Australia) played very well, coming close on several occasions.
