PSU Men’s Soccer falls to Rhode Island College

Panthers will return home after a long battle on the road


             Providence, R.I. –  The Plymouth State University men's soccer team lost to Anchormen of Rhode Island College, 4-2, in its third consecutive road game.  PSU's Jerry Randolph (Malmo, SWE), and Adam Edmunds (Wilton, N.H.) would each score in the first half, taking the game into the intermission tied at two.  The two teams remained even until the 67th minute when RIC senior midfielder Dan Monteiro scored his third goal of the day on a loose ball, and again in the 75th minute from 20 yards, tallying all four RIC goals of the game.  The Panthers look break a three game losing streak moving into its final two regular season games at home against Colby-Sawyer College, and LEC rival UMass Dartmouth.
