Fast paced shooting dominated play
Plymouth, N.H. – The Plymouth State University men's soccer team lost to the Chargers of Colby-Sawyer College today in a fast-paced battle on Arold field. The theme of the day was speed, with both teams coming out of the gate fast, and hard. Nick Rutherford (Sydney, AUS) began the shooting at 1:50, missing just high on the shot. Plymouth would shoot 12 times in the first half but could not get one past Charger goalkeeper Jake Towle (Barnstead, N.H.), and the game would go into the intermission with no score. CSC's Devin Kelly (Lynnfield, Ma.) would score the winning goal of the game, on a redirect off the corner kick from Matt Schiller (Slingerlands, N.Y.). The Panthers look to Saturday, senior day, for the last regular season game against LEC rival UMass Dartmouth on Arold Field.
