PLYMOUTH, N.H. – The honors continue to roll in for Plymouth State University men's soccer player Nick Rutherford (Sydney, Australia), as the senior was selected to the United Soccer Coaches NCAA Division III Men's All-New England Region Third Team on Wednesday.

Rutherford had another outstanding season for the Panthers, earning All-Little East Conference First Team recognition while being named to the CoSIDA Academic All-District First Team and earning a spot in the NEISL Senior All-Star game.

A 5-11 forward, Rutherford was the top goal scorer for the Panthers in each of his four seasons. He led the team with nine goals, 10 assists and 28 points this fall, finishing his career among the program's all-time leaders in each offensive category.

His career 30 goals are seventh best all-time, while he wraps up a distinguished career second in program history with 28 assists. Additionally, his 88 career points are the sixth-most in men's soccer history.

PSU finished the year with a 6-10 overall record, while going 3-4 in the LEC. The Panthers narrowly missed qualifying for the LEC Tournament after falling by a slim 3-2 margin to Rhode Island College on the final day of the regular season, with the winning team guaranteed a playoff spot.
