           Head Coach Rob Wright is now in his eighth season in charge of the men's soccer program at Plymouth State.  He took over as head coach in 2002 after one year as an assistant, becoming just the seventh head coach in what is now a 53-year history of the Panther men's soccer program.

            Coach Wright led the Panthers to four straight ECAC post-season berths from 2003-06, and was an assistant on the 2001 PSU squad that captured the ECAC New England Championship.  He has guided the team to a 65-47-17 overall record in seven seasons, including the Little East Conference regular season title in 2006 and a share of the title in 2003. The Panthers nearly captured their first LEC tournament championship under Wright in 2008, falling 1-0 in the title match on a goal in the 87th minute.

            A native of England, Wright is the Director of Coaching for online soccer company, Complete Soccer Coach. He has served as the head goalkeeping coach for the N.H. Olympic Development Program and currently serves as the head coach for the N.H. U-17 Boys Olympic Development Team, as an adjunct faculty member at PSU, and as a staff coach for United States Youth Soccer Region 1.

            Wright earned a Bachelor's degree from De Montfort University in (England) in 1996. In addition, he received a post-graduate degree from Cheltenham & Gloucester College (Sports Development), a diploma from Newcastle College (Sports Psychology), and most recently a Masters of Education in Athletic Administration, from Plymouth State.

             Wright holds a USSF 'A' license, an NSCAA Advanced National license, an NSCAA Goalkeeping license, and several licenses from UEFA.
