Panther contingent selected as LEC Relay Team of the Week

PLYMOUTH, N.H. – Four runners on the Plymouth State University men's indoor track and field team were honored Monday by the Little East Conference (LEC) for their performance in last weekend's home meet at the Davis Track.

Plymouth State's 4 x 200 meter relay team of freshmen Davin Cross (Manchester, N.H./Memorial) and Eric Rosario (Methuen, Mass.), senior Rob Mills (Plymouth, N.H.) and sophomore Isaiah Bolden (Dover, N.H.) were selected the LEC Men's Track & Field Relay Team of the Week. The Panther group took second place in the event in 1:35.81 in the Plymouth State Winter Classic last Friday, a five-team meet to wrap up the first semester of the indoor track season.

The relay race was one of several strong performances by the Panther athletes in the meet. Bolden captured first place in the long jump (6.71m/22'0.75") and took second in the 60 meter hurdles (8.85); Rosario won the 400 meter dash in 52.09 seconds; Mills was second in the 200 meters in 23.98 seconds; and Cross was third in the 60 meters (7.27).

After a break for final exams and the holidays, Plymouth State returns to the track on Saturday, Jan. 21, at the Panther Invitational at the Davis Track.
