* Bartlett, the LEC indoor champion at 1000 meters, won Saturday's 1500 meters by more than two seconds over the runner-up runner due to a strong finish in the last 100 meters. His school-record time of 3:56.08 stands as the 10th-best time in New England this spring.

* Rosario lowered his own school record in the 400 meters with an LEC winning time of 48.94 seconds. His performance is the eighth fastest time in New England this spring and ranks 46th nationally in Division III.

* PSU's 4x800 meter relay team bounced back from a heartbreaking loss in the event at the indoor championships, when the Panthers were leading until the last 100m when they were passed by four teams. "Winning this event outdoors has been a goal since moments after that event ended," said PSU head coach John Ostler. PSU's time of 8:02.01 is the ninth-fastest performance in New England this spring, and was less than two seconds off the meet record.

* Other Panthers who scored points in individual events included sophomore Isaiah Bolden (Dover, N.H.), who was seventh in the 110 meter high hurdles in 16.05 seconds; and Byington, who was seventh in the 1500 meters in a PR 4:10.10.

* The Panthers will sent a contingent of athletes who have qualified to the New England Division III Championships next weekend, hosted by Williams College. The Panthers will have entries in some field events on Friday with the majority of the events taking place on Saturday.
