PLYMOUTH, N.H. - The point guard on the Plymouth State College women's basketball team has been recognized by the Little East Conference for her performance in three games last week.
Sophomore Jenn Pelletier (Derry, N.H.) was named to this week's LEC Weekly Honor Roll. It is the first time this season and second time in her career that Pelletier has been recognized by the conference. A 5'4" point guard, Pelletier averaged 17.3 points, 6.3 rebounds, 6.3 assists and 1.7 steals in PSC's 2-1 week. She hit all 15 free throw attempts and shot 41 percent from the field. Pelletier recorded a team-high 22 points, three rebounds, and eight assists in the LEC victory over Eastern Connecticut, draining 7-of-10 field goal tries and all six free throws. Pelletier was instrumental in PSC going 2-1 on the week, sandwiching a 83-67 loss to Salem State on Thursday between a 71-55 victory over Gordon last Tuesday and the 96-85 LEC verdict over ECSU on Saturday, snapping a seven-game losing skid to the Warriors.
PSC remains at Foley Gymnasium for a non-conference game Tuesday (Dec. 5) vs. Coast Guard (5:30 p.m.) before making road trips to Colby-Sawyer Thursday (Dec. 7) and Western Connecticut Saturday (Dec. 9).
