PLYMOUTH, N.H. - Three members of the Plymouth State College women's basketball team have received Little East Conference All-Star honors for their performances during the 2000-01 regular season.

Sophomore center Courtney Albert (Hudson, N.H.) and sophomore guard Jenn Pelletier (Derry, N.H.) were selected to the All-LEC First Team, and senior forward Krystyna Zagorski (Matawan, N.J.) earned Honorable Mention.

The three players were instrumental in leading PSC to a third-place in the LEC with a 10-4 mark. The Panthers were defeated in the conference tournament semi-finals, and take a 19-7 overall record into this week's ECAC New England post-season tournament.

A 5'9" post-player, Albert leads the Panthers in scoring (14.7 ppg) and field goal percentage (51.0), while ranking second in rebounding (6.0 rpg) and third in free throw percentage (72.7). She led the Panthers or shared the scoring lead in 13 of the 26 games, and three times was selected to the LEC Weekly Honor Roll. Albert was the 1999-2000 LEC Rookie of the Year.

A 5'5" point guard, Pelletier is second on the team in scoring with a 12.3 average. She also leads the team in assists (4.1 apg) and free throw percentage (77.2) and ranks second in steals (2.2 spg). She led the team in scoring eight times this season, and was on the LEC Honor Roll once in December. This is her first LEC regular season honor.
